The History of J Custom Supply

J Custom was started in 1979 to support Holiday on Ice with stage lighting and power distribution equipment. The company founder, Jason Fendelson, and the former sales manager, Robert Hegwood, toured with HOI throughout the US and South America for many years. The company was originally located in Zachary, Louisiana and was moved to Baton Rouge in 2005 when Jason retired and Charles "Gil" Gilliam became the new owner.

J Custom Supply, Inc. is a local Louisiana company with an international reach. We have supported the electrical needs of theater, entertainment and emergency portable power industries for over forty years. The list of our customers range from local bands and entertainment venues to major convention centers across the country and large generator rental companies. Our customer list includes such famous names as Boeing, Feld Entertainment, Caterpillar, BAE Systems and Mercedes-Benz. We have customers in almost every US state and Puerto Rico. Our international customers include Canada, Arabia, Korea, Hong Kong, Great Britain, Taiwan, India, Singapore and the Bahamas, to name just a few.

J Custom has one of the largest stock of cam style connectors in the Southeast area of the United States and we carry both Crouse-Hinds Cam-Lok™ and Marinco^® CAM Technology connectors to suit your needs.
