Generator Connection Boxes
J Custom's line of Generator Connection Boxes (“GCB”), is designed to allow quick and safe connections of portable generators to a building or facility.
Features and Benefits:
- 200 Amp or 400 Amp service / Single or Three Phase / 240 or 480 volts
- The Generator Connection Box incorporates a patent-pending safety/security feature, preventing access by unauthorized parties to the connectors when cables are connected
- Color coded connectors ensure quick phase identification (Brown, Orange and Yellow phase colors available for 480 Volts)
- NEMA 3R rated, connected or disconnected
- Spring loaded NEMA 3R rated cap covers for all power connectors, ensuring safety and reliability
- Quick access cable entry door with lockable controlled access to cable connections
- Door stay holds door open in windy conditions
- UL 1008 Listed
The GCB series is currently available in five distinct configurations but units can be provided in styles capable of handling up to 1600 Amps.
